Every year, Thanksgiving comes with its holiday cheer. Whether it be spending time with family or celebrating with friends, Thanksgiving is all about having that sense of gratitude. While Thanksgiving is known for being celebrated with a big family meal, it can be tough to get all meal preparations done in such a short time. To prevent the hassle, families tend to prefer going out to a restaurant and getting a Thanksgiving meal together. In this article we will be listing some of the restaurants that families can go to celebrate their thanksgiving.
5. Empire Steak House, Midtown Manhattan
With three locations in midtown, Empire Steak House is known for its elegant Thanksgiving feast in the form of a 3-course prix-fixe menu. They are serving appetizers like tuna tartare, buffalo mozzarella, or pumpkin soup and finish off with entrees like traditional thanksgiving turkey with all the fixings, dry-aged ribeye steak, and lobster ravioli. Including dessert which consists of pumpkin pie, cheesecake, or tiramisu. The meal per person is $110.
4. Agora Taverna, Forest Hills, Queens
Agora Taverna is located in Forest Hills, Queens. For Thanksgiving, they are offering a special menu with four courses. For an appetizer, they have a butternut squash and apple soup and a mixed green salad. For their main course, they offer sliced turkey, sweet potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and vegetables. For dessert, you’ll be delighted with a pumpkin pie slice with whipped cream. Their whole four course dinner runs pre-fix for $39.95.
3. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers, Manhattan
Black Tap burgers are known for having unique meals. This year they will be serving up their fried turkey & brie sandwich (with pecan & cranberry stuffing, roasted garlic mayo, and watercress) as well as a sweet potato pie classic shake for dessert! They have two locations one at SoHo–529 Broome St and another at 35 Street–45 W 35th St.
2. Sereneco, Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Sereneco is known for its calm environment and homey vibe. They are known for their mix of Thanksgiving classics. Their 3-course menu includes classics like roasted turkey breast, while also offering appetizers like butternut squash soup and kale salad. The meal is $75 per person. It’s located at 113 Franklin St, Brooklyn.
1. The Smith, Manhattan
The Smith is known for their outstanding Thanksgiving meal. It consists of a starter, main course, and dessert. The meal is $78 per person and requires reservations. There are four locations, one is located in East Village: 55 3rd Ave (between 10th & 11th St), another is located in Midtown: 956 2nd Ave (at 51st St), Also another is located in NoMad – 1150 Broadway (at 27th St) and their final location is in Lincoln Square – 1900 Broadway (at 63rd St).
