Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a major impact on the arts and entertainment industry, opening up new prospects and pushing the limits of creativity. Using AI helps to create more diversity in art and entertainment. Additionally, it has changed how art is viewed. It calls for more expression through art and combats traditional aspects of craft.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

AI is the intelligence of computer systems/software, as opposed to the intellect of human beings. It can be used to complete tasks originally done by humans, such as making decisions, solving problems, speech recognition, communicating with customers online, and so much more. 

How is it used in the real world?

AI is applied to many industries in the real world. One of those industries is healthcare where it is used to improve diagnostics, enable personalized medicine, accelerate drug discovery, and enhance telemedicine. It’s also used in customer service, finance, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, retail, and education. 

How is it used in the arts and entertainment industry?

AI is adopted in creating abstract patterns, morphing images, and generating unique compositions. Using AI for arts and entertainment can be innovative and help promote expression through art forms. 

AI can be utilized as a collaborative tool for musicians, also in video games to enhance the game development and player experience. Regarding art, it can be used to generate new pieces based on algorithms that analyze vast amounts of data, learn patterns, and generate new compositions based on that knowledge. AI expands artistic possibilities by enabling musicians to experiment with different genres or explore new artistic directions.

AI is always evolving and developing and with that comes new possibilities and new limits which enhances artistic inspiration.
