Cardozo High School celebrated the class of 2025 with its annual Senior Spirit Week, which took place from Dec. 2 to Dec. 6. The week consisted of different activities for the seniors to participate in, dress up for, and have fun. Senior Spirit Week is a way to bring the senior class together before they graduate this coming June.
Throughout the week, students participated in the following themed days:
- Matching Monday (aka Twin Day): Seniors matched with their best friend or coordinated with a whole crew. It was all about looking good together.
- High School Stereotypes: Jocks, ”nerds,” cheerleaders, goths, band kids, skaters — this day seniors got to jump into someone else’s shoes for the day.
- Anything But a Backpack Day: Students were able to bring their books in anything but their book bag.
- Throwback Thursday: Kids dressed up as an era of their choice. Oversized Tees of the 2000’s, Hip-Hop/Grunge of the 1990’s, Bright/Retro looks of the 1980’s, Disco Fashion of the 1970’s, Hippie culture of the 1960’s, Vintage looks from the 50’s, 40’s, 30’s, Roaring 20’s and beyond.
- SENIOR Citizen Day: Cardozo seniors became senior citizens and rocked the old look at school.
The class of 2025 really showed up and showed out for this annual event. Here are some of our favorite looks from the week.
