Cadets from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School’s Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp attended Passaic High School’s drill competition in Passaic, NJ. The competition consisted of many different categories to compete in like academics, drones, basic drill, armed drill, and more.
The cadets competed in armed basic platoon regulation, inspection, academics, new cadet color guard, varsity color guard, two cadet armed exhibition, two cadet unarmed exhibition, unarmed platoon regulation, and physical fitness. The cadets worked hard and brought home the gold in varsity colored, the cadets brought home seven trophies for their last competition of the 2023-2024 year.
Schedule
The cadets arrived at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School to muster before departure. The cadets departed for Passaic High School in Passaic, NJ at 6:00 a.m. The cadets had the following competition categories at the specific time listed:

Right after the all-hands knock-out event the cadets attended the award ceremony, after the ceremony the cadets boarded the buses to head to Benjamin N. Cardozo to then depart for home from there.

The cadets at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School are building a unit that will strive for greatness. This is just the beginning of the work of art. The effort and time put into practice is amazing from getting to school at 7:00 a.m. to staying at school till 4:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. The cadets at BNCHS NJROTC strive and wish to see the future cadets strive.
