What is the Small Business Club (SBC)?
The Small Business Club (SBC) is a newly founded club that aims to teach high school students on how businesses work and entrepreneurship skills. Its mission is to promote entrepreneurial spirit and business among high school students. Nina, the president and the founder of the club gives an insight by stating, “The small business club is a safe space where students come together with their talents and hobbies to experience what its like to work together to run a small business.”
Why you Should Join the Small Business Club (SBC):
- Entrepreneurial Skills: Entrepreneurship is the idea of starting a business by taking risks and solving problems along the way. If you’re interested in pursuing business or entrepreneurship in the future, you’ll be able to acquire the necessary skills such as business planning, marketing, budgeting, and problem-solving. However, even if you’re not interested, these skills could be helpful for you.
- Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience by operating small business projects with the help of a supportive team.
- Creativity & Innovation: Explore your creative potential and learn to think innovatively by finding solutions to real-world business challenges.

Small Business Club meets every Monday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in RM 205 in the main building.
