Billie Eilish Vinyl LP
On Feb. 6, Grammy award-winning song artist, Billie Eilish released her new perfume “Your Turn” under her brand Eilish Fragrances. The fragrance is described as woody and fresh with hints of ginger, sandalwood, and peach. But with a price point of $70, is it worth it? Or is it just another bottle of lame celebrity hype?
First, the bottle, “Your Turn,” features a sleek, metallic, semitransparent, dice-shaped design. The design conveys a mysterious yet alluring vibe with its silvery colors. I found the dice to be aesthetically pleasing, convenient, and handy. The smaller dice functions as the perfume bottle’s cap, which is something I love about its unique design. It’s clear that Eilish took a different approach from standard perfume bottles with the design of “Your Turn.”
“Your Turn” perfume’s top notes include cardamom (spice), ginger, and bergamot (citrus fruit). The middle notes include night blooming jasmine, peach, and coconut water. And lastly, the bottom notes consist of musk, Australian sandalwood (tree plant), and ISO e super.
For my first impression, I noticed the notes are somewhat masculine, given that the fragrance’s top notes are cardamom and bergamot. However, I would say it becomes more unisex as you wear it. It doesn’t smell like pure candyland or macho man. Instead, the perfume is pleasant as it slowly unravels its notes throughout the day. When compared to traditional perfumes that smell solely like one scent, I find the slow transition from bold to light notes special about “Your Turn.”

Upon applying, the fragrance is woody and warm. I could vividly smell the cardamom and bergamot notes. It’s almost intoxicating, as the smell of the spice and citrus is quite strong. As the day went on, I noticed the scent became more light and fresh, shifting towards the middle peach and coconut water notes. The final scent maintains the lightness, revealing the final musk note, which is earthy and subtly sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed the smell as it shifted during the day.
Regarding its longevity, the majority on Fragrantica (a reputable perfume review website) say the perfume lasts for a moderate amount of time. After wearing the fragrance myself, I noticed the scent faded after approximately 6–8 hours. For a perfume at this price point, I believe its longevity could be longer. However, the perfume’s longevity may vary depending on how long you spend outside. Most Americans on average spend only an hour outside, so the perfume’s longevity of 6–8 hours is more favorable for those who frequently find themselves outside.
With design, fragrance, and longevity in mind, I feel “Your Turn” is worth the $70 price point. Eilish has successfully conveyed her message of evoking feelings and memories with this fragrance. From my memories, “Your Turn” feels like a summer car ride, where the windows are down and a light breeze is blowing. Overall, this perfume is great for those looking for a subtle masculine scent that is warm and bold.
“Your Turn” is available in Ulta stores and the Eilish fragrance website.
