October brings about a lot of fun celebrations and traditions. Amongst everyone’s favorite fall traditions is Halloween — where adults and children both dress up in their favorite costumes and spend time with friends and family. Some trick-or-treat, while others attend parties and parades. Whatever your favorite Halloween tradition may be, the one thing you’ll need to complete your “look” is a solid face of makeup.
5. Tiger stripes
For this look, you can create tiger stripes from the edge of your face, coming inwards to create a very good tiger look. Using eyeshadow can work, or eyeliner. Dragged-out eyeliner and darkened facial features, using a contour brush is a good option. It’s the perfect look if you want to throw together a quick, animal costume without breaking the bank.
4. Deer makeup
For the deer look, you will need foundation splodges on the edge of the face, creating the woodland creature’s look. As well, curled eyelashes make the eyes pop and blush on the face accentuates facial bone structure.
3. Beetlejuice lips
Beetlejuice is one of the most popular Halloween movies of the year, with the remake currently in theaters. Many people are opting to go with Beetlejuice for their costumes this year, as it’s trending. For these Beetlejuice lips, you apply a green lip shade and form your lips like duck lips. Then, apply a black eyeshadow or any power to create the look. It’s almost like a crackling color palette, giving you that spooky vibe.
2. Skull makeup
Skulls and skeletons are a staple of Halloween costumes. Saving money on a full costume, you can easily wear all-black and sport skull makeup. With stitched-up lips and across the bottom face you can create the jaw look. Then, darken the circles around the eyes and nose. The goal is to make it seem like the eyes are seeped down, as well as the cheeks. Use a white color to drain your regular complexion and you’re looking half dead already!
1. Leopard print
2024 is bringing back leopard print, and people are obsessed. Sticking with the inexpensive costume look, if you have some leopard print in your closet, throw it on and do up your face. The eyeliner going down the nose allows you to create a cat-like nose. Then, blacken the tip to resemble a cat. Next, you want to use eyeliner and eyeshadow to make the leopard spots all over your face. Meow, you’re ready to go.
